The Institute of Light and Colour is a “collection of different materialisations of light” a sample library, a catalogue. Covid-19 Pandemic, the catalyst to create new desired experiences within isolation. Experiences that go beyond the places that we are confined to.
My project consists of two parts, mainly a scientific approach to making, that produces a set of qualities through using light phenomena. A specified method of working with light that arrives at a certain materialisation.
My architecture is a set of desired experiences created through the behaviour of light. It forms an argument that there are alternative ways of materialising things and questions how we qualify materials.
